The POAs were 2-axle open steel wagon and the model fits illustrations of those in the 5402-5416 number range and yet it carries the number '5352' which was allocated to a PNA built in 1988. The model (373-975) is of the wagon type with reinforced ends and is owned by Tiger Leasing and hired by Yeoman. The actual members of this class were built on salvaged chassis from TTA tank wagons that were no longer needed for tank traffic. The wagons were built by C.C.Crump at Connah's Quay in North Wales. The model is nicely detailed and neatly printed.
It is worthy of mention that Bachmann are now using an improved coupling on new N gauge models. It functions as before but the spring is now securely housed. This overcomes the old problem the coupling disintegrating and the tiny spring being fired across the room - never to be found again, except by the vacuum cleaner.
