Hornby 20T Ammonia Tank Wagon WD R636020T Tank WD 339.jpg (62560 bytes)

This model is based on a real 20T tank wagon which carried the number '339' and was used for the transportation of ammonia during the Second World War. Unlike the model, the real wagon had Petroleum Board type arrangement of ladders and platforms. The basic model itself was designed by Airfix and first released by them in 1979. Hornby have produced 15 versions of it since 1997 but this the first time it has been produced in this particular livery.
