Hornby ZKV Tippler Ore Wagon R6107CTippler 18.jpg (58238 bytes)

The Hornby model of a 27 ton British Railways steel tippler wagon dates from 1979 and was one of a new range of more realistic wagons introduced at that time in response to the competition created by Airfix and Mainline. Since then, 18 versions of the wagon have been produced. All but four have correctly been in BR liveries, most of them for stone traffic, some for iron ore and this is the fifth to be released in departmental livery as a ZKV with its post 1983 livery. The wagon carries the number 'DB387631'.
