This former Airfix model represents the large wooden mineral wagons once found in large quantities in the North East where they were used for transporting coal in 20 ton loads. It is the 13th version to have been produced by Hornby since 1998 - almost all of them in BR light grey livery. This one is numbered 'E30938'.
