The Mk1 GUV is a new model which was due for release in 2005 and, as usual, was worth waiting for. The sample we have is in Rail Express Systems (RES) red, dark grey and light blue livery and carries 'Royal Mail' branding. It is numbered '95199' and carries the 'NOX' code - the 'X' indicating that the vehicle is dual braked. The surface detail and the printing are very good, handrails are painted black and door handles are picked out with brass paint. The model has NEM pockets for the couplings and alternative link and dummy couplings are provided in case you wish to make up permanent rakes of them.
